Kengtong
Kengtong is located in the Eastern Shan State depend largely border trade with China and Thailand. There are many ethnic remote villages such as Lahu, Akha, Lamon, Palaung, Wa Shan and Li Su etc. These tribes can only be differentiated by their colorful traditional dresses and these ethnic minorities and their land are unspoiled with tourists. They are famous for their traditional dances, lacquer ware and weaving. Places of interest are the Naung Tong Lake, Sunn Taung Monastery and preferablable for trekking.
