Sittwe
Sittwe is the capital of Rakhine (Arkan) state situated on the Rakhine costal line at the mouth of Kaladan River. It is accessible by air from Yangon with regular flights and also by sea with coastline steamers. For accommodation there are state owned hotels, local hotels, motel and guest houses as well. Most convenient is by air.
